It takes about 1.30 hours to get there.

Our first stop is at the long tail boat pier.

08.30amTake longtail Boat to Floating Market

Next up, take a long-tail boat through the elaborated canal network, passing by villages, plantations, and fruit orchards.

It takes about 20 minutes to get to the main Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

09.00amEnjoy Floating Market / Shopping / Eating / stroll around

To experience Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where locals in traditional farmer’s dress and hat paddle their small boat full of varieties of fresh tropical Thai fruits and many other kinds of local ready-to-serve food.

Then a little walk to Thailand – Burma Railway Center or Death Railway Museum inside displays the events that happened during the construction of the River Kwai Bridge and exhibits the collections of photographs, pictures, articles, pistols, knives, other related items, and movies.

Next, visit the River Kwai Bridge.

Then continue to the River Kwai Bridge, which served as the inspiration for the film “The Bridge Over the River Kwai.” During World War II, 1942-1945, POWs built this structure.
