Day 2Bangkok > Highlights of Bangkok Tour

  • Visit the Golden Buddha Temple

Wat Trimitr-Golden Buddha Temple is located in China Town. The temple houses the highly revered 5.5 tonne pure solid gold sitting Buddha from 1300AD.

  • Drive through China Town

After finishing the golden Buddha Temple, drive through China Town to get a glimpse of the main business area along Yao Wa Ratch Road.

Yao-Wa-Ratch Road is also a well-known walking food street at night, starting from 19.00pm until mid-night.

Next stop, the Flower Market

  • Visit Flower Market

The Bangkok Flower Market is the biggest fresh flower market in Bangkok. The market is named “Pak-Khlong Ta-Lad,” which means “the market at the mount of the canal.” It is open around the clock every day. Every night, late at night and early in the morning, there are varieties of fresh flowers delivered from all parts of Thailand here. The flower market looks like only flowers, but in fact it is full of things from the local area, such as vegetables, cooking ingredients, and seasonal Thai fruits. Then, every second here always looks busy.

Next up, it’s time to hop on a TUK TUK.

  • Visit Wat Pho

Wat Pho is a breathtaking complex that houses the famous and impressive Reclining Buddha and the birthplace of Traditional Thai Massage. 

  • Visit the Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple

The Royal Grand Palace, the jewel in Bangkok’s architectural crown, was built in 1782 AD. The former royal residences of King Rama I, II, III, and IV. It is still used for royal and state ceremonies. 

In the same compound-located the most frequently visited by foreign tourists and locals, “the Emerald Buddha Temple,” which houses the most highly revered Buddha Image carved from one piece of jade.

Inside, it is so richly and intricately decorated that once entering, you will feel as if you were in the “City of Angels”.

After lunch, go to visit:

  • Marble Temple

After lunch, visit Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple, where the ashes of our beloved King Rama V have been enshrined. It is one of the most modern works of Thai religious architecture, graceful and tranquil.

The highlight is “Ubosot or Chapel”, which was built with the Italian white Carara Marble and houses the replica of the most beautiful Buddha in Thailand, “Phra Buddha Chinnarat”.

Back to the hotel or go shopping, your choice.

Day 3Highlights of Ayutthaya Tour

After breakfast, check out and pick you up to explore Ayutthaya Historical Park.

The one-of-a-kind and breathtaking historical complex of Siam’s former (417-year-old) ancient capital.

First, visit

  • Wat Yai Chai Mong Kol

It was built in the mid-15th century. King Naresuan the Great (who ruled Ayutthaya between 1590 and 1605 AD) added a large Chedi to the temple ground to commemorate his victory over the Burmese.

After that, continue to visit

  • Wat Mahathat

It is a religious center where the Buddha‘s relic is kept and the residence of the Supreme Patriarch.

The sandstone Buddha head, which has been stuck in the root of the Bodhi tree since 1767 AD, is one of the highlights.

  • Wat Phra Sri San Phet

The temple was used for royal ceremonies and storing royal relics and was the royal residence.

Most of the buildings were burned, but they still have their charm and are attractive to visitors.

Next, take

  • A boat trip surround Ayutthaya Island.

Geographically, Ayutthaya has been surrounded by three rivers that make the ancient capital city an Island. In addition, the local made their settlements along the rivers. A 45-minutes boat trip lets you experience and see the local life by the river, together with the old city fortress, wall and magnificent temple that were built along.

Day 4Lopburi > Old Khmer Town & transfer to Pitsanulok

After breakfast, check out and pick up to visit the highlights of Lopburi.

First, visit

  • Phra Phrang Sam Yot

The three connected Phrang of Khmer Stone Sunctuary from the 10th–13th Centuries were located in the heart of the city and were dominated by groups of monkeys.

Next up, sightseeing

  • Phra Narai Ratchanivet

The 2nd Palace of Ayutthaya’s famous King, “King Na Rai”, who ruled Ayutthaya between 1656 to 1688 AD and sent an ambassador to France in the reign of “King Louis 14”.

Then proceed to Pitsanulok province.

  • Lunch is at a local restaurant on the way.

Once you arrive, stop to visit the highlight of Pitsanulok.

  • Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat

The iconic temple, which houses the most beautiful Buddha in Thailand, was built in the late 1300AD “Sukhothai Period.”

After that, check into your hotel.

Day 5Srisatchanalai Historical Site of Sukhothai Tour in Sukhothai 

Check out and go to a visit after breakfast.

  • Sri Sat Cha Na Lai Historical Park,

It was established in 1250 AD as the second capital of the “Sukhothai Kingdom.”It was the residence of the Crown Prince in the 13th and 14th centuries.

The city was rectangular in shape. In the 16th century, a 5 meter high wall with an upstream moat was built to fend off the growing Burmese attacks.

The location of the town was facilitated by two neighboring dominant hills.

After that, proceed to Sukhothai province.

Day 6Sukhothai Historical Park Tour and continue to Chiang Mai

Check out and pick up the keys for the visit after breakfast.

the “World Heritage” Sukhothai Historical Park.

From 1238 to 1448 AD, it served as Thailand’s first capital.The city’s walls form a rectangle about 2 km (1.2 miles) east-west by 1.6 km (0.9 miles) north-south.

There are 193 ruins on 70 sq. km of land. Inside are the remains of the Royal Palace and 26 temples, the largest being Wat Mahathat.

Lunch at a local restaurant on the way.

After that, proceed to Chiang Mai.

Once arrived, go to visit

  • Wat Phra Sing

the second most venerated temple in Chiang Mai after Wat Phra That Doi Su-Thep.

It houses the three main structures. The main attraction is the elegantly decorated Lai-Kam assembly hall and its restored murals depicting the lives of locals hundreds of years ago.

Located inside the old city wall, the temple’s signature Lanna-style roofs and glittering Chedi.

Then continue to check in at the hotel.

Day 7Hilltribe Village & White Temple @ Chiang Rai

After breakfast, you will be picked up for a visit.

  • Karen Village, Long Neck Karen Village

Girls and women in the legendary Kayan (Karen) Tribes “Long Neck Karen Village (Baan Tong Luang)” traditionally wear brass coils around their necks.

Next up, proceed to visit 

  • Wat Rong-Khun,

Better known to tourists as the White Temple, a contemporary, unconventional, privately owned art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple.

After that, go for lunch at Sing Park, plus see around.

After lunch back in Chiang Mai City, let’s relax, get a drink, or have a walk to see around inside Chiang Mai’s old city wall, before heading back to the hotel.

Day 8isit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep & proceed to Lampang

  • Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum & the Legend of the Chicken Bowl & Ceramic Factory.

To experience the local things is one of the signatures of Lampang. Here is where the legend of Lampang Ceramic begins. A walk through the ceramic legend and seeing the procedure of how each step is made.

And try your hand as a designer by drawing your idea on your favorite ceramic bowl, cup, or…

Next up, sightsee the temple.

  • Wat Phra That Lampang Luang 

The iconic Lan-na style temple, where the history of Lampang begins, houses the relics of Buddha’s bones. And listening to a local heroic story that once happened here.

After that, go visit

  • Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao

Once, the Emerald Buddha was installed here between 1434 and 1468 AD, before it was moved to Chiang Mai, Lao, and now Bangkok. 

Then it’s time to fill our tummies.

  • Lunch with local foods at a local restaurant.

After that, proceed to Khamphaeng-Phet.

Day 10Khamphaeng-Phet Historical Park

Check out and pick up for visit after breakfast:

  • Khamphaeng-Phet Historical Park.

It is an ancient town. The plan of the town is trapezium in shape, with its length parallel to the river.

Its town wall is 2,400 metres long in the north, 2160 metres long in the south, 540 metres wide in the east and 220 metres wide in the west.

The town wall was made of laterite. Inside and outside the town, there are a large number of both big and small ancient monuments in ruins. The majority of them are the ruins of sanctuaries.

Next, we drive through the countryside, stopping at various local plantations, such as a pineapple plantation, for tasting or photos.

After that, continue to Kanchanaburi.

Day 11Kanchanaburi > first day > visit Elephant Haven of Thailand 1 day program

After breakfast, pick up for a visit:

  • Elephant Haven (sanctuary)

Typically, it starts from 09.00am until 15.00pm, including the following activities:

  • Preparing Food for the Elephants
  • Walk side by side with elephants into the jungle.
  • Watch them enjoy playing in a mud pit.
  • Bathing, playing, or swimming with elephants in the river.

Lunch is a vegetarian buffet of local foods.

Return to the hotel once you’ve finished.

Day b12Kanchanaburi > second Day > visit the Hellfire pass > Muang Sing Historical Park > Tham Kra-Sae Station

Where the big mountain was cut through to pave the way for laying down the railway.

The POWs were forced to work day and night with the torch and the sound of hammering the rock that symbolized Hellfire.

Next, pay a visit to

  • Khmer Empire: Muang Sing Historical Park 

Muang Sing Historical Park , situated on the Kwai-Noi River Bank , in a square shape of about 1 square kilometer with moats and earthen rams surrounded by city walls in Laterite.

At the center there were archaeological sites built in the Bayon Khmer art style, were probably built in 11th Century coinciding with the Reign of King Jayavarman VII of Cambodia.

Then continue to

  • Tham KraSae (Krasae Cave) > Death Railway Station

Take a walk to see around, then catch the moment when the train approaches the station, very slowly gliding along the railway, which seems to hang on the cliff over the river Kwai

  • Lunch at a local restaurant

Next up, to sightsee

  • The River Kwai Bridge

The Bridge, which served as the inspiration for the film “The Bridge Over the River Kwai.” During World War II, 1942-1945, POWs built this structure.

After that, continue to visit the War Cemetery & War Museum.

War Cemetery, which contains approximately 9,000 remains of prisoners of war who died during the construction of the “Death Railway.”

Then, take a little walk to the War Museum.

Thailand – Burma Railway Center or Death Railway Museum inside displays the events that happened during the construction of the River Kwai Bridge and exhibits collections of photographs, pictures, articles, pistols, knives, other related items, and movies. 

Finishing, proceed to Samut Songkram province.

Day 13Mae Khlong Train Market & Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

After breakfast, check out and pick up for the visit:

  • At 07.30am, visit Maekhlong Railway Market

A walk through the market with locals will give you a sense of what the market is like and what is good for the locals.

Until the train comes, the prime-time moment when all tourists are waiting for

Next up, take a longtai boat.

  • 09.30 a.m. > Canal Tour on a Longtail Boat

Take a longtail boat through the elaborated canal network and pass by villages, plantations, and fruit orchards. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the main Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

  • 10 a.m. > Enjoy the Floating Market, shopping, eating, and strolling around.

To experience Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where locals in traditional farmer’s dress and hat paddle their small boat full of varieties of fresh tropical Thai fruits and many other kinds of local ready-to-serve food.

Here, you can walk to see around or buy a ticket for 150 THB for a seat on a paddle boat and go along the canal to experience the market.

Or just relax by sitting and sipping local coffee.

Spend time here until 11.30 am, then go back to Bangkok.

  • 11.30 a.m.: Depart from the Floating Market and return to Bangkok

At 11.30am, leave Damnoen Saduak Floating Market for Bangkok.

  • Lunch is at a local restaurant on the way.

After that, continue to Bangkok.
